This Privacy Policy explains how Shonazz EduVerse Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your personal data when you use the Eolas247 platform ("the Service"). We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
- Account & identity data: name, email address, password, and any profile details you provide.
- Purchase data: courses bought, order history, and billing details. (Card details are handled by our payment provider Square, we don't store full card numbers.)
- Learning data: progress, assessment results, simulation responses, chat messages with the tutor, and certificates earned.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and usage data collected via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
- Communications: messages you send us and our support correspondence.

You can withdraw consent (for example, to marketing) at any time.
4. AI processing
Some features use AI to deliver tutoring, adapt lessons, and respond in chat and simulations. Your learning inputs may be processed by AI systems and our sub-processors to provide and improve these features. We do not use your personal data to train third-party AI models for their own purposes without a lawful basis, and we take steps to limit what is shared.
5. Who we share data with
We share data only with:
- Service providers / sub-processors who help us run the Service (for example, hosting, payment processing, email, and AI providers), under contract and only as needed;
- Professional and regulatory bodies where relevant (for example, accreditation records), and authorities where required by law;
- A buyer or successor if our business is reorganised or sold.
We don't sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we put appropriate safeguards in place (such as UK/EU adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses). Note current hosting: Azure now
7. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. Typical periods:
- Account & learning data: while your account is active and for 6 after it closes.
- Purchase & financial records: as required by tax and accounting law (usually 6 years).
- Support messages: 6 period.
8. Your rights
Under UK/EU GDPR you can ask to: access your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing; receive a portable copy; and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email privacy@shonazz.com. We'll respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority ΓÇö in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe and will notify you and the relevant authority of a breach where required.
10. Children
The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date, and notify you of significant changes.
